Application Guidelines
Tools Required
Putty knife, notched trowel, rubber mallet, electric mixer, mixing bucket, caulking gun.
Working Conditions
• Ideal ambient temperature: 5°C–35°C. Avoid application during rain, extreme heat, frost, direct sunlight, or strong wind.
• Do not reuse set mortar. Protect freshly laid tiles from disturbance.
Substrate Preparation
Substrate must be solid, clean, without hollowing, cracks, deformation, looseness, oil, wax, or frost.
Clean contaminants or release agents with detergent and high-pressure water rinsing, then air-dry until no surface water remains.
Remove old paint or putty down to the original mortar layer, rinse, and air-dry before application.
Repair hollow or cracked areas with mortar and allow 48 hours curing before proceeding.
Pre-wet highly absorbent or hot/dry substrates to a surface-dry but inner-moist state before application.
Installation Steps
Thoroughly clean tile backs to remove powder, dust, or bond-inhibiting substances. Air-dry after rinsing or sanding.
Mix 40 kg of dry powder with 9 L ± 1 L of clean water using an electric mixer until a smooth, lump-free paste is achieved.
Apply adhesive to both tile back and substrate using the double-buttering method. Press and adjust tiles to ensure full contact without hollowing. Maintain 2–3 mm joint width (adjustable as needed).
Use mixed mortar within 3 hours, avoiding high temperatures and direct sunlight.
Grouting can be performed 1–2 days after tile installation. Weber colored tile grout is recommended.
Protect from rain and moisture during transport. Store in dry conditions (RH < 70%). For long-term storage, reinforce moisture protection with PE film to prevent deterioration.
